Barrel Racing

 Barrels are to be set as follows. 40ft from timer line to line with #1 & #2 barrels. #1 and #2 are 75ft apart. Centered between 1&2 the #3 barrel should be 165ft from the timer line. Forming a triangle with the distance between barrels #1 and #3 being 130 ft apart and between barrels #2 and #3 is 130ft apart. All distances should be measured to the center of the 55-gallon barrel. Each participant makes either a right, left, left - or - a left, right, right. All properties should be at least 20ft away from fences or other obstacles to prevent injury. 

Disqualifications for steadying properties with hands, property tops touching the ground, and broken patterns.

FOR THE VIDEO: IT IS REQUIRED THAT THE ENTRY VIDEO FLOW CONTINUOUSLY WITH THE RIDER STEPPING TO THE TIMER LINE, DISMOUNTING, WALKING THE PATTERN WITHOUT THE HORSE, MOUNTING THE HORSE, AND BEGINNING THE RUN WITHOUT PAUSING THE VIDEO.

This is mandatory as we will need to be able to see that your barrels are spaced appropriately. We highly recommend you go to a place with a proper timer that you can use and that can be seen in the video.
